Waste and Recycling collection delays
If your collection does not take place on your scheduled day, please leave your containers out. Crews may collect the next day or catch up at the weekends.
Anything not taken by the end of the weekend will be a priority for your next scheduled collection day. Please take your containers back onto your property until then.
- Do you have excess waste or recycling? Has your collection has been delayed and you do not want to wait for the next scheduled collection? You can take your waste and recycling to one of our five Household Waste Recycling Centres.
- Remember to squash recycling and flatten cardboard to fit more into your containers. Please keep recycling secure while waiting between collections. Seal plastics and cans in the white bag using the Velcro fastening.
We are sorry for any problems this may cause you. Staff are doing their best to catch up collections and really appreciate your support.
Help us by making sure your street can be accessed by the service vehicles. Do not park close to or opposite junctions and fold wing mirrors in. On narrow streets, park cars on one side of the road only, against the kerb with wheels straight.
