The Weaver to Web site contains around 20,000 digital images illustrating the history of Calderdale. This includes the pages of the Halifax Courier for the years 1914-1918.

Ancestry is instantly available in all Calderdale Libraries. Find My Past and British Newspaper Archive are available at Central Library, Brighouse, Hebden Bridge and Todmorden. You would be advised to book first and a member of staff will log you on.

The Access to Research service offers free access to academic journal articles. This online service is available in all Calderdale libraries.

If you are a Calderdale library member you can download a maximum of 5 titles at a time, with a choice of over 400 free eBook titles, to compatible e-Readers, tablets and PCs.
