Cartwheel offers youth work provision to all young people in the local vicinity of Elland.

The club is open:


All nights are open access.

The centre gives young people the chance to come together and make new friends in a warm and welcoming place.
The Centre also offers accreditation opportunities, like ASDAN and the DOFE.

Description:
It is the role of Countryside Services to protect, enhance and promote knowledge and understanding of Calderdale's unique and rich natural environment.

The top recreation sites are Ogden Water and Jerusalem Farm. Both are designated as Local Natures Reserves and provide a range of opportunities for quiet, informal, outdoor recreation.

Facilities at each site include car parking and indoor teaching and meeting rooms. Ogden also has a visitor centre and café, whilst Jerusalem Farm has camping facilities for up to thirty tents.

Other sites for which Calderdale Countryside Services is responsible include North Dean Wood, Colden Valley Woods, Norland Moor, Cromwell Bottom and Clifton Lagoons.

Conservation work parties are undertaken most week days and often also at weekends.
