Full description:
1854 (date on hoist). Double range adjacent to Bowling Dyke Mills. Possibly designed by Roger Ives. Six storeys. Hammer dressed stone. Slate roof. Windows with sills, reglazed. Modillion cornice with blind attic articulated by pilaster strips. Third storey windows at north end separated by rusticated pilasters. On west side a lavatory tower with round headed windows similar to that on C and D block. Attached on east side cast iron gatepiers with half columns at main entrance to site.
