Full description:
Mill building now unoccupied industrial premises. Mid C19. Coursed squared stone, roof not visible. 4 storeys, 5 x 9 bays. North front: on left a round-arched doorway with 4-panel door and fanlight and a segment arched waggon entrance to its right, both with dropped keystones and set in a rusticated ashlar panel with cornice. To right a door flanked by blocked windows. 6-pane windows to first floor, 4-pane sashes to second floor, shorter 4-pane sashes or 6-pane windows to 3rd floor, all with stone lintels and projecting cills. Modillion cornice. Modillion-corniced stack on left. Later brick addition on roof. Left return: the 4 left-hand bays are built out over the river on triangular-section cut waters. The windows of bays 7 and 8 are set lower on each floor. Ground floor: 3 windows to left; other openings blocked. First floor: door to bay 3, the stair to it removed. 2nd floor: doorway to bay 5. 3rd floor: windows to bays 7 and 8 taller than other windows. Modillion cornice. Part of mill complex. In state of dereliction at time of resurvey.
