Full description:
Chest tomb. c1806. Dressed stone. Base has fielded panels, 2 to each side, 1 to ends, flanked by fluted pilasters. Top slab with corniced edge has border with finely-carved relief foliage, cherub at top and winged skull at base. Inscription commemorates Mary Pollard (of Rawend), d1756, and Naylor Pollard, d1806, the "Here" at the top flanked by crossed bones and an hourglass. Later inscriptions commemorate their son William Pollard, d1809, and John Pollard, d1820.
