Full description:
Farmhouse and cottage, now all one house. Quoin dated 1777, incorporates earlier features. Coursed squared stone, slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays in all, having 2-bay house with partial rear outshut on left, and 1-bay cottage with gable entry on right. Raised quoins. Between right-hand bays is C20 half-glazed door to house in raised plain stone surround. 3-light flat faced mullion windows in raised surrounds. On right, added quoined lean-to covers and gives access to cottage doorway. Chamfered coping, gable finials. 2 ridge stacks. Rear: quoins, one on left dated. Outshut is quoined and in left return has a wide window with renewed chamfered lintel and, above it, a 2-light flat faced mullion window. To left of this the main range has a blocked 2 light window to ground floor with a blocked taking-in door and a small light above. Left return: on first floor a blocked 2-light chamfered mullion window.
Interior: chamfered spine beams to both house and cottage, those in house scarf-jointed indicating presence of former bressumer and firehood. Cottage has large stone fireplace with chamfered ledge.
