Full description:
Row of three cottages, now all one, and attached barn. c1800 in present form, possibly having earlier origin. Coursed squared stone, stone slate roof. L-shaped plan; 2 storeys, 3 bays with lower 3-bay barn to rear right. Quoins. Openings have plain stone surrounds, windows with flat-faced mullions. Cottage range: each bay has a doorway on left, that to right bay now gone, and a 4-light window to each floor. Shaped gutter brackets. 4 ridge stacks. Rear: right bay has a 4-light window to each floor, central bay a 4-light window with 5-light window above. On left the barn range projects, the bay nearest cottage range being part of it and having a keyed, arched, 1st-floor window, and the barn a central cart entry with imposts and keystone (narrowed) with inserted light above and blocked mistal doorway on right at lower level. Right return: cottage range: 2-light cellar window on right; 2 windows to ground and 1st floors, formerly of 2 and 4 lights, the ground floor left window now with doorway; blocked square opening with ledge to gable. Barn: central elliptical-arched cart entry with imposts and keystone. Left return: two 1985 3-light windows to each floor. The building was originally owned by Greenhead House and probably provided accommodation for employees.
