Full description:
Farmhouse now house. C17 origins much altered and added to C18, probably c1735 (datestone). Coursed squared stone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 bays with bay added to left. South front: quoins to left of left bays. Openings have plain stone surrounds, windows with flat faced mullions. Left bay: inserted French window with 4-light window above; shaped gutter brackets; shaped kneeler and end stack (renewed c1985) to left end. Main house: on left, later doorway in C20 part-glazed porch with a decorative date plaque above it reading "IH/1734"(ivy covered). To right of door a 2-light window on each floor and to far right an inserted French window with 2-light window above. Shaped kneeler to right gable. End stacks.
Interior: housebody has chamfered basket-arched stone fireplace with deep lintel and cornice, and chamfered spine beam. A king-post roof truss with large-scantling tie-beam and later struts; re-used large-scantling purlins.
