Full description:
Hotel, mid C19 ashlar, slate roof. 3 storeys with basement, 3 bays plus corner bay on left. Rusticated basement, moulded cill bands, central raised panel. Paired sashes to basement. Steps with twisted iron balusters up to central 4-panel door under fanlight in round-arched, quoined architrave with imposts, bulls head keystone and flanked by Tuscan pilasters supporting entablature with dentil cornice. Above door is a sash in architrave with triangular pediment on consoles, and to 2nd floor paired round-arched sashes with bracketed cill and hoodmould. Other bays have paired sashes with bracketed cills breaking cill bands. Corner bay has basement windows shouldered-arched, canted bay window with cornice and blocking course to ground floor, a sash with console cornice to 1st floor, and paired round-arch sashes with hoodmoulds to 2nd floor. Moulded cornice breaking forward over central bay; blocking course. Brick end stacks. Included for group value.
