Full description:
House, early to mid C17, formerly bore date inscription "1628 LAUS DEO" now forms 3 dwellings. Large dressed stone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys. Plinth. 3 parallel ranges with flush frontage have gables with moulded coping, parapet and one surviving lantern finial of similar design to Great House, Great House Lane (q.v.) near by. Moulded string course. 3 hoodmoulds with decorated stops of differing designs to 1st floor. All windows are early C19 sashes with plain stone surrounds. Set back from this range is added gabled wing with doorway with much weathered date stone, chamfered surround; over to 1st floor is former 4-light double chamfered mullioned window the central lights stepped. Ground floor has 3-light window with 4-light window over. Gable stack. Right hand return wall has C19 sash windows and doorway with monolithic jambs. Rear preserves C17 fenestration to parallel ranges. Double chamfered mullioned window of 2 lights, 4 lights with same over with decorated label stops. Tall stair window lacks mullions. 4-light window with same over to 1st floor with decorated label stops. West wing has inserted sashed windows. 7 stacks in all. Interior not inspected.
