Cottage probably of late C17 origin altered early C19. Hammer dressed stone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys. 2 cells. South front has 2 doorways with monolithic jambs, 1st floor has two 4-light flat faced mullioned windows with projecting sills. Rear preserves 2-light double chamfered mullioned window to 1st floor, and doorway with monolithic jambs. Stack at junction of attached farmhouse which is excluded from the item;attached to right hand return wall is barn (q.v.).
