Full description:
Bridge over River Calder 1684 and 1823. Bridge of 1684 instigated by Timothy Wadsworth survives to west, 2 segmental arches of dressed stone with central chamfered pier, east arch 9 feet wide, each with a span of 42 ft. Bridge widened to east, 1823-4 in rock faced stone; 2 segmental arches with dropped keystones and central pier which breaks forward to pointed arched cutwater, similar land arches to either side are just visible with banking against them.
