Full description:
Public House. Mid C18 with early C19 additions. Hammer-dressed stone, stone slate roof with coped gables with kneelers 2-storey C18 front raised to 3 storeys in the C19. Quoined angles. Ground floor has C19 3-light mullioned window, door jamb part of 2-light mullioned window. First floor has two 3-light flat faced mullioned windows with very thin stones and centrally placed large rectangular opening now window but probably former taking-in door. Second floor has two large 2-light mullioned windows and one other. Moulded gutter brackets; internal stacks to both gables. Right hand return wall has two and a half storey outshut of late C18 coped with kneelers. Rear has long mullioned window at first floor all lights solid.
