Built on to long row of cottages in early C19. Hammer-dressed stone, stone slate roof under same ridge as Nos. 6 and 7 (q.v.). 2 storeys, symmetrical facade with central doorway with monolithic jambs flanked by flat faced mullioned windows of 3 lights with same over, with single window over door. String below large square stone gutter brackets. Gable stack to ridge.
