Milestone. C19. Single stone with cast iron face. Arched head reads 'ELLAND AND BRIGHOUSE ROAD, ELLAND'. The left of 2 angled faces reads 'ELLAND 3 quarters MILE'; right reads 'WAKEFIELD 15 and 3 quarter MILES, DEWSBURY 10 MILES'. On a turnpike road of the former "Leeds and Elland Trust'.
