Full description:
House, now in 2 occupations. 1686. Large dressed stone, stone slate roof. Baffle entry, 2-cell plan with rear single storey outshut. South facade has mid C20 leanto extension forming present entry at left. Doorway with square lintel inscribed 'JGJ 1686', chamfered surround with small arch headed light over with spandrels. 2-light chamfered window lacking mullion. Double chamfered mullioned window of 4 lights (lacking 2 mullions) with 3-light window over lacking mullions and with modern longer jambs. 4-light chamfered mullioned window (lacking 2 mullions but central king mullion remains), with 3-light window over, again altered with longer jambs. 2 dressed stacks to gables. Interior: Housebody has large fireplace with low elliptical arched lintel with roll moulding on moulded corbels, jambs replaced. Bressumer beam survives as does stop chamfered spine beam. Heck formed of thin large dressed stone slabs. King post truss with groove to soffit, possibly for studding or panelling in connection with firehood, as the truss is directly over the bressumer.
