Full description:
House. Late C17 with added porch, the lintel of which is inscribed '1 7 1 6, I M E' (thought to be John Manly Eastwood). Large dressed stone, stone slate roof. 2-room plan with rear aisle which had an entry; now gable entry. 2-storey south front has plinth, double chamfered mullioned windows of 4 lights and 10 lights to ground floor with stepped hoodmould continuous over both. 1st floor has chamfered mullioned windows of 3 lights and one of 4 lights with lowered sill now forming 2 wide lights. Right hand return wall has 2 chamfered mullioned windows of 2 lights to 1st floor. Rear has single storey outshut under catslide roof. Chamfered mullioned window of 2 lights to left of stop chamfered doorway now reduced to window. Left hand return wall has 2-light double chamfered mullioned window to ground floor. 1st floor has 2 inserted windows with earlier single storey roof line between. Wide single storey gabled porch has C19 doorway with tie-stones and large window with plain stone surrounds. Set over door is inscribed lintel. Stack to apex for beehive-oven set inside the porch. An unusual position. One stack to south gable.
