Full description:
Former house, now 2 houses. Late C16, altered early C19 and C20. Timber-framed and rubble stone, partly rendered, with ashlar dressings and concrete pantile roofs. 2 ridge and a gable stack. 2 storey. 4 window fronts. L-plan. Street facade has set back front to No. 11 with an off-centre doorway with half-glazed door and to left a small plain sash with ashlar surround, eitherside are single C20 casements. Above a small casement with ashlar surround, flanked by single C20 casements. Street front to No. 13 has C20 doorway with a C20 casement on each floor. Garden facade has rendered front to No. 13 with a doorway and to the left a C20 casement, above a pair of 2-light sliding sashes. Entrance to No. 11 has a half-glazed door, and a single casement to each floor. Set back wing to left has two 2-light casements and 2 similar windows above, that to the right is a blocked loft door surround.
Interior: 2 bays of large scale timber-framing survive within No. 11, and in the party wall shared with No. 13. The roof is C19, though re-using many C16 timbers. The upper floor retains a stone slab smoke hood. This building is listed because it contains an important timber-frame.
