Full description:
Row of cottages. Late C18 with mid C19 alterations to the lane side. Hammer-dressed stone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys. Quoins. The facade to the yard now has 5-bays. The doorway to No. 3 forms a doorway to the right hand end beyond a set of quoins. Each of the other bays has flat faced mullioned windows with overlapping sills of 4 lights, the 2 right bays have 2 mullions removed from each window. Doorway of No. 7 taken out of window of 2nd bay. The facade to the lane has been treated in Picturesque Tudor style. Of 7 bays with doorways in 1st and 5th each having moulded jambs and basket headed lintel with hollowed spandrels. All windows are double chamfered with arched lights and hollow spandrels, of 2
or 3 lights. 3 stacks to ridge, those to lane side treated as 4 joined octagonal flues.
