Includes No. 2 Crossley Street. Mid/later C19. Classical. Stone corner building of 3 storeys. 8/9 windows plus 4 to south return in Crossley Street and 1 to rounded corner. Order of enriched, rusticated pilasters to ground storey with 2 arched doorways at centre and modern shops. 1st floor windows set under semi-circular arches with enriched tympana and further decoration to coupled central pair. Bracketted crowning cornice to slated roof. Exposed north flank. Design matches that of Nos. 25 to 33 on south side of Crossley Street.
(Nos. 17 to 33 (odd), No. 12, Nos. 18 to 22 (even) together with all the listed buildings in Crossley Street, No. 2 Wade Street, and No. 1 (with south extension of White Swan Hotel), White Swan Hotel, Princess Buildings, Princess Street and No. 2 Crown Street form an important group).
