Nos. 1 to 22 (consec) form part of Akroydon, a model village begun by Col Akroyd in about 1851 to the designs of Sir G G Scott but never completed. Mid C19. Row of eight 2-storeyed Gothic houses. Low basement. Stone with eaves to slated roof. Arched doorways. 4-light mullioned and transomed windows to ground storey with 2 & 3 light openings above sharing gable. (Mullions removed from all but Nos. 5 & 8). (Nos. 1 to 22 (consec) form a group).
