(NOS. 1 TO 43 (ODD) FORM PART OF AKROYDEN, A MODEL VILLAGE BEGUN BY COL AKROYD IN ABOUT 1851 TO THE DESIGNS OF SIR G G SCOTT BUT NEVER COMPLETED). Mid/later C19. Row of six 2-storeyed Gothic houses. Stone. Each with arched doorway and 3-light window to ground storey with 2 windows above sharing gable to slated roof. Only No 9 retains its mullions.
