Nos. 10 to 30 (even) and Nos. 33 to 27 (odd) form part of Akroyden, a model village begun by Col Akroyd in about 1851 to the designs of Sir G G Scott but never completed. Mid/later C19. Row of 3 substantial Gothic houses. Stone. 2 main storeys above a basement plus another in slated roof with gable and stone dormer. Arched doorways. Shaped lintels to windows. (Nos. 10 to 30 (even) and Nos. 33-37 (odd) form a group).
