Nos. 10 to 30 (even) and Nos. 33 to 27 (odd) form part of Akroyden, a model village begun by Col Akroyd in about 1851 to the designs of Sir G G Scott but never completed. Mid/later C19. Row of 4 substantial Gothic houses. Stone. 2 main storeys plus basement and another in slated roof with gable and stone dormers. Arched doorways. Single and 2-light sash windows plus 2 bays to centre. (Nos. 10 to 30 (even) and Nos. 33-37 (odd) form a group).
