Includes Nos. 2 & 4 Salisbury Place. Dated 1851 and inscribed 'Akroyden'. Row of 3 stone houses. 2 and 3 storeys. Gothic with gables and 2 finials to slated roof. Double shop front to east side of No. 51, apparently largely original. 3 mullioned and transomed windows above one enriched with arch etc over and inscription. Arcade to south return of ground storey. Plain rear. Nos. 2 and 4 Salisbury Place have arched doorways, each 2 windows and a gable. (The Entrance Gateway and Lodge to Burial Ground together with Nos. 23 to 51 (odd) form a group).
