Full description:
Public house, second quarter of the C19. Hammer-dressed stone (painted to front), stone slate roof. Quoins. 3-bay symmetrical facade with doorway with interrupted jambs and windows with plain stone surrounds. Over is decorative tablet carved with illustrations of 2 men in Lincon green dress: "ROBIN HOODS INN, If ROBIN HOOD be not at home, come take a pot with little john". Eaves band and gutter brackets. Left hand return wall has simple Venetian window to gable. Right hand return wall has 5-light flat faced mullioned window to each floor. That to 1st floor has lowerd sill and lacks 2 mullions. Gable stacks. Prominently sited on a bend in the center of the village.
