Full description:
House, early C18 with alterations and added barn, early C19. Hammer-dressed stone, stone slate roof. One and a half storeys. 2-cell house with gable entry originally, now partly obscured by added barn. North front has barn to left with outshut breaking forward forming aisle to barn. Set back is square headed cart entry. At division of house and barn is added outshut which breaks forward with corner stack. This forms porch with doorway in left return wall. Inner porch is taken out of barn to original gable entry to house. Flat faced mullioned window of 4 lights to housebody. 2-light window to parlour. Left hand return wall has mistal doorway with large tie-stone jambs to aisle. Rectangular unchamfered ventilators to barn gable. Right hand return wall has coped gable with kneelers. 3-light flat faced mullioned window to parlour with small chamfered light to right to former pantry. 1st floor has 5-light chamfered mullioned window (lacking 2 mullions and partly blocked). Rear is back to earth and has a chamfered light and a 2-light chamfered window (lacks mullion).
Interior has king post truss with angle struts and groove to soffit of tie-beam.
