Full description:
House, late C17 with attached earlier barn, probably mid C17. Hammer dressed stone, blue slate roof to house, stone slate to barn. 2 storeys. 2-room front, double-pile with gable entry. East front has double chamfered mullioned windows of 5 lights and 4 lights to ground floor; inserted C19 doorway with monolithic jambs. 1st floor has 3-light flat faced mullioned window to left of 2 chamfered mullioned windows of 4 lights and 3 lights.
Left hand return wall has 3-light double chamfered mullioned window to right of basket arched doorway with chamfered surround; 2-light chamfered mullioned window to left. Quoins, coped gable with kneelers and stack. One other stack to ridge. Rear has chamfered mullioned windows of 2 lights and 3 lights. Attached barn, single aisled to west which has square headed cart entry with heavy lintel, set within a portal with chamfered mistal doorways. Set within the re-entrant angle. Similar cart entry to east. 4-bay interior with principal trusses with queen struts but lacking king posts. South gable has rectangular ventilators now blocked by house which indicates that the barn was built first.
Interior of house formerly had interior passage, retains chamfered doorway. Housebody has segmental arched fireplace carried on corbelled jambs with chamfered surround; reeded spine beams and stop-chamfered joists.
