Reallocation / Appeal request to Secondary School 2024


If you are not happy with the school place your child has been offered, you can request that your child's name is included within a reallocation list for any places which may become available after 1st March 2024.

Reallocation lists (waiting list) will be maintained until at least the end of the Autumn term of the academic year.

This form must be completed by 15th March 2024. Notification of the outcome will be in writing by 29th March 2024. Details regarding this will not be provided over the phone.


If you have been refused a place at one (or more) of your preferred schools, you have the statutory right of appeal whereby you can submit details of your reasons for requesting a particular school. An Independent Appeal Panel has the discretion and authority to admit a pupil above the published admission number.

Parents should note that a school place can be accepted whilst pursuing an appeal for an alternative school.
