Leaflet produced by Calderdale Council Leisure Services Department illustrating a walk along the Hebble Brook, near Halifax.
This is the place where the Hebble Navigation canal once passed to allow goods to be moved via barge. The canal was made redundant when the faster train service started. The navigation worked its way up the valley via a huge pumping station. This produced 1,000 gallons per minute.
