Halifax Golf Club first opened in Lightcliffe as part of the Sunnyvale attraction in the mid 19th century, after which it moved to Cliffe Hall, Shibden for a short time. The golf course finally moved to Ogden, opening on the 4th of October 1902.
The picture depicted here is of Bob Hall golf house, named because it was built on the site of some cottages known as Bob Hall, where, at one time, a pack of hounds was kept.
