The aerial photograph was taken by a member of Halifax Photographic Society. Showing Harrison Road, Savile Road, Oxford Road and Prescott Street, as it appeared in the early 1970s. The photograph also shows the site of the demolished Ramsden's Brewery, where the headquarters of the Halifax Building Society (now the Halifax Bank) was to be built.
