A refreshing mind-body workout, Pilates focuses on core stability and posture, aiming to lengthen and strengthen muscles. The core fundamentals of the method are based upon a thorough understanding of the anatomy of the human body.
The exercises are performed in a very slow and controlled manner with similarities to Yoga as the class incorporates relaxation and breathing techniques. It is mat based designed to improve core strength, flexibility, muscle tone and balance.
