Bankfield Buddies

We need a creative, enthusiastic and committed volunteer to work alongside our Education Officers and Workshop Leaders  to support the Bankfield Buddies Under 5’s session at Bankfield Museum.

Bankfield Buddies is a specific under 5’s session where children join in with craft activities, play, enjoy a story and learn more about the fascinating objects on display. On average we have around 15-25 children attending the session with their parents / carers.

Support is required from 10am-12pm every Friday, the session is delivered from 10.30am-11.15am during term time. The Club is closed at Easter, during the Summer Holidays and Christmas.

Smith Art Gallery - Saturday Art Club

Are you creative, enthusiastic and committed? Would you like to volunteer to work alongside our Education Officers and Workshop Leaders at the Brighouse Saturday Art Club at the Smith Art Gallery?

The Club is a membership scheme for children aged 8-14 and we deliver a range of arts and crafts activities inspired by the gallery exhibitions, collections and seasonal themes. We currently have 15 registered members with about 8 children attending regularly.

The working hours are 10am-1pm every fortnight, the session is delivered is 10.30am-12.30pm during term time and over half term holidays. The Club is closed at Easter, during the Summer Holidays and Christmas.

This role would be ideal for a school or college student interested in gaining work experience in teaching, and/or community arts and crafts.

Todmorden Town Hall Volunteers

Would you like to encourage people to be proud of their local heritage?  Todmorden Town Hall volunteers deliver guided tours and research the stories of the Grade 1 listed building.  Volunteers meet fortnightly to share findings and deliver monthly taster tours.
