Todmorden (Eastwood) Household Waste Recycling Centre

HWRCs can be used by Calderdale's residents to deposit items that do not fit in the domestic wheelie bin or bin liners.

Separate skips are provided for cardboard, plastic bottles, timber, electrical items, green waste etc. By sorting your waste before you visit and placing materials in the correct skip you are helping to ensure the maximum amount is recovered.

The service is free to use. Please ensure that you have sufficient time to deposit waste and exit the site, before the site closing time.

Vehicle height restrictions are in place at this site. There is a 6 foot 2 inch (1.88 metres) height barrier. Vehicles above this height limit will be turned away, unless you have a permit .

Note: The Council operates a commercial Vehicle permit scheme . If you use a van, pick-up vehicle or a vehicle with a large trailer, you will need a permit to use our sites.

Re-use shop: "Revive"

There is a re-use / resale shop at the Brighouse (Atlas Mill) HWRC. Suitable items are collected at all HWRCs. For more information, see: Revive shop .

Opening hours

Please Note: Gates to these sites can be closed up to 10 minutes before the site closing time. This is to ensure waste is deposited and vehicles have exited by the closing time.
