The Healthy Child Programme

The Healthy Child Programme for school-aged children in Calderdale

Have your say!

In Calderdale, we have health workers to help children and young people and their families. Their job is to give advice, support and information. They are different to doctors, as they are not there for when young people are feeling ill. They are there to help them make good health and lifestyle choices that will keep them healthy, happy and safe.

This service supports those aged 5 - 19 years, or 5 - 25 years, if they have special educational needs or disabilities.

We want to make sure that:

  • the services we provide are right for young people and families in Calderdale;
  • they can get the support and advice they want, when they want it, in a way that suits them.

Please help us to do this by completing a survey by 16th February.

Survey for a young person

Survey for a parent or carer

Survey for people that work at a school

Survey for people involved in other services that work with children and young people

It should only take you 5 to 10 minutes to fill in the survey.

There is the option to be entered into a prize draw to win one of ten £10 high street shopping vouchers. Note: This is if you are a parent/carer or young person aged 13 or over.

Would you be interested in helping us further? We want a group of people tell us more about the services they would like to see. If this interests you, please give us your details.

If you are chosen to take part, you will get a £20 shopping voucher to thank you for your time.

If you prefer a paper or large print copy of the survey, please email: naomi.marquis@calderdale.gov.uk or phone: 01422 393129.
