Being Active in Pregnancy and Early Years

This survey is specifically aimed at pregnant women, dads-to-be, parents/carers of children aged under 5 or grandparents of children under 5 years old.
Physical activity:
·  Benefits health
·  Improves sleep
·  Benefits emotional wellbeing
·  Connects you with other people and your child
·  Manages stress
·  Improves quality of life
It reduces your chance of:
·  Type 2 Diabetes
·  Cardiovascular disease
·  Depression etc
·  Joint / back pain
·  Cancers
It is for these reasons we want to help more parents/carers in pregnancy and with children aged under 5 to move more and be more physically active.
We are interested to know what would help you to be more active. Please take five minutes to complete the survey. Your answers could help develop and plan Calderdale projects / activities for the future.
