Tel: 0844 225 3638

Web: See external link policy

This is a local branch of the charity Parkinson's UK that offers advice, information and support to people who have Parkinson's disease and their families. The branch holds monthly meetings and organises social events, trips and exercise classes. The branch has a library of useful publications on Parkinson's disease.

There is a local Information and Support Worker who can offer confidential help and advice. The support worker is Kathy Judd and she can visit you at home, in hospital or in residential care. You can get advice about welfare benefits and help to complete forms. You can get help if you need to make a complaint, or need support with assessments and reviews of your care.

The branch can help to fund respite care and approved therapies. You can also get help with transport costs so that you and your carer can attend branch meetings and events.
