This is a self help education movement organised by and for older people who are no longer in fulltime employment. The group is for people who live in Todmorden and surrounding area.

There are regular monthly meetings at the Central Methodist Hall in Todmorden. These are on the third Thursday of every month. There's a speaker, refreshments and the chance to discuss what groups and the committee are doing.

A range of special interest groups organise regular meetings, activities and visits. These include art appreciation, art, creative writing, French, local social history, music, philosophy, science, scrabble, Spanish, table tennis and badminton, walking and world affairs. There is also a lunch club, a regular quiz, and a group called Let's Go which organises coach trips to places of interest.

Membership costs £16 a year. You can download a membership form from the website.
