Our activities include the following: Researching the history, culture, and everyday stories of Calderdale during the time of the Great War. Compiling the Halifax Courier's First World War Centenary Week by Week feature. Producing an information database from the local newspapers of the time. Creating walking trails that interpret the Great War locations of Calderdale. Offering the public opportunities to learn about Calderdale's Great War experience. Enquiries and new members are most welcome.
