Full description:
Single-aisled barn initialled and dated "1718, W W". Roof raised and altered early C19. Thin dressed rubble dry stone walled, stone slate roof. Quoins from earliest build. Segmental arched cart entry with inner porch, set within the re-entrant angle a basket arched doorway with tie-stone jambs, the lintel bearing the date set within a tressure. Mistal doorway to lower end with quoined lintel and chamfered surround. Right hand return wall shows earlier roof line and has arched ventilators with sunken spandrels. Interior of 4 bays covered by unusual soft wood roof of hybrid queen-post and fish-bone king-post trusses.
