Full description:
Gateway, mid C19. Hammer-dressed stone, stone walls with ashlar copings. Large central gateway has low pointed arch, cornice, blocking course surmounted by statue of reclining lion. To either side are lower embattled walls enclosing doorways with similar archway rising from skewbacks. The brewery has gone but the archway remains in an isolated rural setting to which it lends landscape value.
