Full description:
House now forming 3 dwellings with attached barn. Early C18 with C19 alterations. Hammer dressed stone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys. 3-cell house. 1st 2 cells have chamfered mullioned windows (some mullions removed), of 4 lights and 5 lights with to 1st floor a 3-light window flanked by windows of 2 lights. Doorway to 2nd cell has tie-stones. 3rd cell added (clear break visible) probably C19, has doorway with monolithic jambs and 3-light flat faced mullioned window to each floor. Barn attached, has composite jambs and square lintel with chamfered surround to cart entry and mistal door which has quoined lintel. Left hand return wall has doorway (for 1st cottage) with tie-stones. 2 stacks to ridge. Originally there was a 2-cell house and separate barn which has larger masonry and may be slightly earlier, then the gap between was filled in by the added 3rd cottage in the C19.
