Full description:
Barn. Early C17, or earlier. Rubble brought to course with inner timber frame; stone slate roof. Aisled. 4-bays. Quoins. Central, quoined cart-entry heightened with gable. Outshut on right under cat-slide roof has two tudor-arched, chamfered, quoined doorways (to right and centre) and window with plain stone surround on left. Roof hipped on right. Rear: opposing cart-entry with quoins, heightened and blocked. Slit vent to right. Walling to left rebuilt, but with chamfered, quoined doorway to far left. Right return: rebuilt in brick, C20, with cement-lintelled openings. Interior: rear cart-entry has stone side walls forming supports to trusses; all other bays have jowelled-headed posts with braces to aisle ties, wall plates and tie beams, some of the braces curved and chamfered. Queen-strut trusses, butt purlins.
