Action Kids Club (HX5 0DE)

Description: Physical Development with fun for 0 - 5 years. Kidzville Play Gym, Greetland, HX4 8EG. School Academy 4-7 year olds on Tuesdays between 4.00pm - 4.45pm. Pre-School Academy 18 months - 4 years on Wednesdays between 10.15am - 11.00am and Fridays between 10.15am - 11.00am and 11.15am - 12.00pm. Play Palace Play Gym, Halifax, HX1 2TE. Pre-School Academy 18 months - 4 years on Saturdays between 9.30am - 10.15am. £4.50/session. Play Gym entrance included. Pay as you go.


Active Fun Centre (HX2 8DB)

Description: Large, clean soft play gym, interactive equipment, rope bridge, 2 slides, 3 ball pools, toddler area and ball pool, café area, multisensory room, changing room with profiling bed and hoist, large car park. Registered with CQC and Ofsted to provide care across a range of settings. Childcare available at weekends and during school holidays at our soft play gym. Telephone for enquiries. Children's parties £100 for exclusive use of the soft play gym (2hours), party pack (optional) £1; kitchen uses multisensory room hire available. Drop in `Stay and Play sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9.30-3.30pm Term Time only for children and families. Weekend Club and School Holiday Clubs available.

Description: The Children's Centre strives to deliver high quality care and education across the community, respecting the needs of individual family units. The centre is community driven and works in partnership with a wide range of individuals, schools and agencies to provide a one-stop shop to health, adult learning, childcare and early education services. Drop in services such as parent and toddler groups, health clinics etc available.


Baby Adventures Stay and Play Group (HX2 9RL)

Description: Stay and Play Group - meet new friends, have fun playing with your baby, get advice and support in a safe and welcoming environment.


Big and Little Explorers at Ash Green Children's Centre (HX2 8SN)

Description: Stay and Play group for children aged 0-4. Messy play, sand and water, musical instruments, healthy snack and more.

Break Boys - Breakdancing classes (HX1 1QG)

Description: A great way for boys to keep fit and healthy whilst learning to break dance. For boys aged 4-8. . Upbeat, fun and friendly classes. Qualified and CRB checked male teachers. Places are limited so it is advisable to book early - advance bookings only.


Bright Stars Parent and Toddler Group

Description: Parent and toddler group.


Brownies & Rainbows

Description: Rainbows (5-7yrs) meet at 6pm on Tuesdays. Brownies (7-10yrs) meet at 6.45pm on Tuesdays.


Calderdale Breastfeeding Support Network (HX1 1QS)

Description: This group is supported by healthcare assistants/assistant practitioners/ family link workers and peer supporters. Drop in sessions at Baby Café (Baby Ballet Halifax) Winding Road, HX1 1QS (Tel: 01422 224417) or Huddersfield Baby Café, Woodhead Children's Centre, Deighton, Huddersfield, HD2 1EJ (Tel: 01484 234234). Health visitor input available. Local Peer Supporters available on 07920 466660. Breastfeeding friendly places available on www.onlynatural.org.uk. NHS Direct can be contacted on 08454547. Description: Free and impartial service for parents and carers aimed at linking them with childcare and early education options in Calderdale. Signposting service for parents and carers of children and young people aged 0-20 looking to access local support groups. Wide range of information leaflets available - please contact us for details. Advice on accessing the early education entitlements for children aged 2-4.


El Caracol (HX7)

Description: Spanish club for children. Children will learn through games, activities, music and movement. CRB checked teacher. Parents are welcome to stay. Booking required. Class times: 4 -4.30pm for 3-4 year olds 4.45 - 5.15pm for 5-7 year olds 5.30 - 6.30pm for 8-11 year olds.


Elland Children's Centre (HX5 0BB)

Description: SureStart Elland aims to help and support children and their families so that children will flourish when they get to school and so that parents enjoy bringing up their children. Regular consultation takes place to find out what parents living in the area want and need. Services available include childcare and early education, parenting support, information sessions, play activities, job seekers support etc.


Field Lane Children's Centre (HD6 3JT)

Description: Field Lane Children's Centre is a 30 place setting with nine places in the baby room and 21 places in the toddler room. The pre-school children (3 to 4 years) are catered for by the attached school nursery class. A variety of services aimed at supporting parents and parents to be are available, including parenting support, health services, information services etc.
