The event I require a certificate for took place within the Metropolitan Borough of Calderdale. *We can only provide certificates for events that took place in Calderdale (this covers Halifax, Brighouse, Elland, Sowerby Bridge, Hebden Bridge and Todmorden). If the event took place outside Calderdale you will need to apply to the register office for that district.
I know the exact date or the year and quarter the event took place. *The minimum amount of information we require to find a certificate is the year and quarter the event took place. For recent birth certificates we will also require the parents' names. To obtain a full copy of an entry in a Civil Partnership register you must provide the addresses of both parties at the time the formation took place.
