Harold and Maude: Film Screening (1971 + pre-screening talk)

Part of Halifax Comedy Festival

Please note: this event has already taken place.

In the Halifax Central Library

A 24-carat classic and the blackest of black comedies, Harlond and Maude was something of a failure on release but its tale of a young man, rich, and obsessed with death, who finds himself changed forever when he meets lively septuagenarian Maude at a funeral has grown appreciative audiences around the world ever since.

Accompanied by a short talk about mordant humour on film.

Tickets: Free. Tickets not available online; please pay on the door.
