The Council runs the Community Festival and Event Fund to support Calderdale based groups that are organising cultural events and festivals across Calderdale, with the aim to get more local people involved in the arts, and attract visitors to our towns and villages. The money for the fund has been made available from the Council's Economic Investment Panel.
The fund is for £50,000 and runs from September 2016. A maximum award of £5,000 will be made to any individual Festival or Event.
The Fund is intended to support local and small scale events and festivals across the whole of Calderdale, so consider how much money you need to support your event carefully, and only ask for the maximum of £5,000 if you really need it.
