Workplace Travel Plans

A Travel Plan is a package of measures that aims to provide people with a greater choice of travel options and so reduce the number of car journeys made. Benefits can include cost savings on fleet vehicles and staff travel, reduced congestion and parking problems, improved access to the workplace for staff and improvements in staff health and the local environment.

Are you an employer with car parking problems? Perhaps you need to submit a travel plan for a planning application? Or maybe you just want a healthier and 'greener' workforce? The West Yorkshire Travel Plan Network is an organisation supported by Metro and the five Local Authorities to help employers develop and maintain their travel plans.
